About the activities page.
This is an area where you can set up a party, outing, or meeting. You can
have as much or as little control over who joins in as you wish. Also very
useful for tracking who is coming to (or attending) your activity.
There are two listings, and many categories available to you...
- General listings - category list
- Drinkies
- Dining Out
- Dinner Party
- Party

The various forms of control that you have over your activity...
- "Basic" Mode. Anyone can join in. You may contact
all in the attending list to let them know where the activity is being held.
- "Review" Mode. You control who can join in.
Subscribers who register their interest in your activity will go onto a
"review" list. You must either approve them or remove them.
You may specify the location and your contact details in a special box -
this box will only be revealed to approved attendees.
- "Set and forget" Mode. Any subscriber can register their
interest to attend your activity. You may specify the location and
your contact details in a special box that is hidden from non-attendees.
- "Invitation Only" Mode. Only subscribers that you send an
invitation to can attend your activity. You may specify the location and
your contact details in a special box that is hidden from the uninvited.
The following features are common to all of the above modes...
- You may boot people off the attending list at any stage.
- You may invite other subscribers to your activity.
- You may contact all on the attending list in just one click.
