Problems logging in
| Question. |
Why am I being asked to log in over
and over again? |
| Answer. |
It is very very very rare that this problem will be
traced to our server. The problem is with your computer. First...
Check you are typing your name & password correctly. If you need
a reminder of your login details, click
here.
Second...
If the problem persists... Go to the NZPersonals home
page, type your
name/password and hit [log on], then "read" the home page after
logging in - the home page may be trying to tell you that there is a problem.
The three common reasons why you can't log in are...
- You have disabled cookies
Check and reset your cookie settings and other settings...
Click here to check your cookie
settings.
- Your security settings are too tight
Check and reset your security settings...
Click here to check your security
settings.
- Your account has been closed or deleted
Two possibilities...
3.1. You have previously unsubscribed from this service.
3.2. We have closed your account. Contact
us to check.
If none of the above work and you have previously been able to log
on without problems...
1. Think about what you have installed or changed on your computer directly before this problem started. Try uninstalling or
undoing the changes and see if the problem goes away.
2. Try running a virus check on your computer.
3. Try running a spyware/scumware check on your computer. Two good
anti-spyware programs are: "SpyBot Search & Destroy"
and "Lavasoft's Adaware".
Other things to check...
- Your "firewall" and/or "anti-virus" settings
might be blocking cookies or blocking scripts.
Cookies and scripts are essential for smooth browsing on the Internet - we suggest you never
disable these things.
Final Suggestions...
-
Try restarting your computer.
- Try closing all browser windows and reopen nzpersonals.
- If all else fails, try accessing nzpersonals using a different
browser or different computer.
Other browsers available are: Mozilla & Firefox
they are 100% free to download and use.
If you need help from NZPersonals, click on "Contact NZP",
and please ensure that you provide the following details (so that we can
help you work it out).
- What page are you logging in from?
- What name/password are you providing?
- What happens after you've typed your name/password and hit the [log
on] button?
