Would you describe yourself as a sub though? I consider myself one, but I prefer jobs where I am in control ( I only give myself to special people). To me, it makes bdsm play more special as most people do not really believe I am a sub until they see THAT look in my eyes!

I totally agree Foxy! It does ultimately come down to the eye contact! Just because someone has you restrained and your letting them play on you does not make you their submissive or a submissive on any level and visa versa regarding being a Dom..

Even worse is some people expect me to act submissive 24/7 and with EVERYONE! Whats with that? Do all dom(mes) think that all subs should bow to them or is that just the wannabe dom(mes)? I dont submit to anyone unless I trust them, respect them, and the feeling is there.

Speaking from my perspective as a Domme (and this is only my personal opinion and how I work...my biggest demand on a submissive is communication, respect, loyality and an openmind in return for this they get me. If a submissive truly gives me full submission then in return they get fully controlled. No I dont expect any submissive to be on their knees in front of me 24/7 as this is not a perfect world but I do request they allow me to invade their mind and inner thoughts so that I know even while they are working their mind will occasionally wander back to me I dont know if this makes sense, its actually really hard to explain.

Again I say this is only my way of being a Domme and one of the ways I like to control. It is extremly hard to be a Domme as it is a submissive. One should naturally want to lead the other should naturally wish to kneel so to speak but only if compatible!

yeah, good question. what is a sub? the last relationship i was in, i thought i was the dom, but come to think of it, perhaps that wasn't the case at all. i was just the one performing like i was auditioning for the moscow state circus, whilst she just lay there. i think now perhaps she was the dom! now, that's a profound thought.

mind you, everytime i've been a sub, i tend to lose it in a very vocal, twitchy way. i honestly can't handle losing control. does that make me a dom?

The dom/sub roll has a time and place but it only works with mutual respect. I like being Dom when fucking but the dub girl is only my sub in that situation. Outside of that she is a person who until proves otherwise deserves the same respect you give everyone else.
