It's just a matter of finding a place to have it, finding at least one or two females/couples that will show up and finding a day and time that everyone involved can agree to

getting a group of reliable people is the key. a motel room is easy to organize.putting up with timewasters is hard work and bloody frustrating

Was asked to arrange a meet and greet at Christmas, just drinks at a pub
Arranged it and nobody bothered turning up
