Skinny Dipping down a moonbeam

Dress code: Nil, however people should be prepared to go the full Monty for the swim.
Costs: Nil. Only for your Marshmallows and hot totty drinks
About this event: This year, February's full moon is the Tues the 23rd. I propose a skinny dip at the Eastern end of Petone Foreshore opposite McEwen Park. Meet at 20:30, 8.30pm for those not familiar with a 24hr clock, with a view to entering the water anytime after that. Last year I contacted Council for a fire permit, which they declined. So this year I wont bother, we'll just light one below high water mark, assuming any wind is from the north...ie blowing smoke and sparks toward the harbor. Bring marshmallows for roasting and warm clothes - optional - for after the dip. Of course if its a nice warm evening, there is no requirement to get dressed again. If a week night is going to prove difficult, we can shift it forward to Sat the 20th, just bear in mind the moon won't be completely full. PLEASE, if you click attending try to make every effort to actually attend. Much has been said about the lack of happenings in Wellington, so events need supporting and they best way to do that is to be involved with an event. This should be seen as a great opportunity for couples and ladies to get amongst the fun and to meet other like minded people. So whaddya think...should we do it? Support Wellington on NZP and get involved. This is a simple nudity event. There is no expectation for anyone to "play" unless they choose too.
Bring something waterproof to store your gear in. I recommend Jandles be worn as this part of the beach is covered in sharp shells.

This event is naturally weather dependent, and could be cancelled at short notice. No point in skinny dipping down a moonbeam if there's no moon to beam down. Check the event page on the day for cancellation details, if any.
