In the past I used to pay the subscription but now NZP has made payment harder to do so now I'm just on here as a non member.
All dating sites need the non members too otherwise they would be boring and slowly cease to survive.

The reason has been explained here, and yes I can understand that as the misses (or the partner) runs the bank account, you could end up getting caught with your pant(s/ies) on the ground.
Just not the way you want.

If you are in such a situation, than I think that a credit-card would cause the same problem.

For those who can't spend the 50 dollars, they should think how hey are going to pay for the extra amount of petrol possibly needed,

But okay, I think, my 50 bucks is well spend, because I do meet some special people.

Its simple, just pay the old way .send them cash, no accounts that partners can check and query what your doing.

I am yet to see a benefit to using an unknown payment system when I have not experienced any ‘setbacks’ from not being a paid member.

I don’t feel as though I am ‘using’ paid members; or being a sponge at all. I don’t create groups; events & very rarely create new discussions.

I mostly just respond to my DMs & comment on exisiting threads that have an interest to me or where I may be able to provide information people are seeking.

I respect each and everyone's argument.
Just started something and got responses.

The ones that started me off are the many people here who expect the same things as the paying members.
How many times are things mentioned like "I would but can't because I'm not a paying member".

So if you're happy with the way you're using the system, well, good for you.

Your response has a completely different tonality & inference to the original message. Initially you came across as quite aggressively opposed to people that do not subscribe. Using words like “cheap” and saying we’re here “trying to fuck and suck without putting effort in” yet your response to me was quite the 180 which is appreciated. Do I have enough money to pay? Yes. Do I see a benefit to MY personal circumstances. No. I appreciate the discussion & your thoughtful response. Have a great day

I think that we're lucky to have a site like this, run by Kiwi's and probably not making much money compared to the effort that they have put in. I'm a willing member, paid up and will renew when the time comes.

If you don't want to pay, that's ok...to each their own, but the benefits of full membership are worth it...imo :)
