What are the reasons ?
Are they scared?
They can’t feel the same?
They don’t believe love between men or with a younger guys is real?
They think is gonna make them an open gay man?
Are they too old for that?

relationship (any) or entering a gay one
I'm not gay (bi) and either as a relationship is a 'no' at present.
