It would be good to have a reference page here with the places around NZ where these rooms are available. Looking for one in Wellywood or nearby.

If you are talking about Day Hire, most motels cater for this, just phone them up and ask what is the cost of a Day Hire. They are not concerned what you want it for as long as there’s money in it for them.

Manukau Hotel and Conference Centre definitely hires out day rooms. Used to be $80 flat rate for anywhere from 1 hour up to five or six or more hours depending on 'start' time. Could be a little more now that they have refurbished most rooms.
