Yep, no stress about my self perception or what I may look like in that position. I don't advertise my sexual side in my everyday life, but I'm not ashamed of it either.

I have to admit, I too wonder why I didn't allow myself to experience some things earlier. But I think that as you get older you give yourself 'permission', based on the fact that if you don't do it now, you'll kark it not knowing.

Besides which, one takes less crap as you get older too.

I find now that Sex takes on a new mental level as well as physical, I am more aware of the smells, sensations, the looks on a partners face, seeing them go through the stages of arousal, oh and yes trying new and sometimes taboo things, yes why didnt I do this stuff before!

I find things are completely different now. When I was younger I busied myself rooting around when I could, but never anything adventurous. When I got married I guess we must have had sex at least twice, because both kids look like me, but after that I don't remember much happening at all.

HOWEVER, when the kids were grown up and gone, and I finally left home (age 57) things really went wild in my head. I was constantly horny, and almost anything would turn me on. It was like my imagination went into overdrive and found all sorts of things exciting. Interestingly, what was of no value to me at all any more was a 'quickie', there was no satisfaction to be found there at all (well, none that lasted more than a couple of minutes anyway).

So these days I'm hot and horny, and enjoying all sorts & and it's great! (and my mother was lying. It doesn't make you go blind at all!)

Yes i think a key thing is not worrying about how you look . Have 2 wonderful mid 60s lady friends who dont worry about their expanded middrifts or magnificant saggy boobs but just relax and enjoy themselves. One to the extent that she now started squirting (well more like big dribble stream) and laughs at the mess, says she has never had such a great time. Many/most older woman dont want to be seem to be trolopy but once know they will be respected they can be way hotter than most woman hlf their age. Sexual desire hasn't changed either. The choice of sexual partners had expanded though. Couples and groups are very much on the agenda these days but weren't when I was younger

Yes, we would agree with that as well. Including another couple, a guy or a Lady is in a sexual romp is fine now, can be very enjoyable, where as we didn't consider it when younger.
