I've been hanging out on the NZD messageboards. They're a lot busier.

You'd think we'd have lots to talk about following covid but apparently not...hope you've been keeping well.

Interesting time in history to be alive. I reckon when my grandkids are doing a school project it will be topics like 'where was your grandparent on the first day of lockdown?'

Yep I hope they do...how do you think the government handled things in your opinion?...

The fact the first cases came in off a plane and after such a successful lockdown, I'm really disappointed that more cases came in off a plane. Seems ridiculous anyone was allowed in or out.

Agree with you 100% opened the boarders way to early or they should've limited the amount of flights returning knowing there was still that 1 day isolation...now we dont have sufficient lodgings for everyone returning.

They are pretty cliquey over there and there are some very bitter people. But I've been on the boards there for years, mainly for entertainment.

Looks like other parts of the world are heading into a tonne of trouble... even though we have a few cases, little old NZ has done well. The borders need to remain strictly policed, as that’s where our biggest risk lies. Internally NZers will look after each other... time to explore NZ and spend/shop local for a while!

I always did shop local and nz made. I think the silver lining to covid 19 is two fold. 1. America had to own up to the world that they have huge issues that need fixing. 2. It made nzers proud to be nzers living where we do, how we do

America is a reminder for all those people that crapped on our government for what they done just how good we actually have it.

I agree nz is my preferred home, but the government is still designed for the rich, so I'll carry on crapping on it thanks

So your method of cheering up the conversation is to imply National Voters are Nazis who dont give a fuck about people.

You must be a barrel of laughs at a party

I did not mention anything political, yet it’s quickly transformed into a soapbox for politics...glad you could share your view on the world... right now our focus should be on NZ, how we keep safe, how we move forward and support the team!!!

I'm actually over this covid 19 furore, we're clear, the few coming in at the border are now being quarantined, jacinda should be nominated for a Nobel peace prize, her decisive and rapid actions and the fact most kiwis followed her stance meant community transmission was minimalised. This economy will thrive, opening the borders would be a huge and unnecessary mistake, we are trading internationally like never before, and we're a sustainable country. But I wanna change the subject, let's talk about kinks and fetishes, nzpersonals isn't a political forum, it's supposed to be about how I love rimming gorgeous clean large girls,

And finally and most decisively I'd like to say that "ALL lives matter", singling out one race that's opposed to racism is in itself racist. Let's stop looking backwards in order to blame, let's look forward and ask ourselves 'how can we live as one in a better, safer environment'. Being an Anglo-Saxon male where do I stop with this blame game, do I see the Romans?, The Vikings?, The Norman's, the Saxons? It's a pointless and ridiculous attack on my heritage to whine on about how I got here, because I can't change it. The reality is I'm thankful to the Romans for giving me a plumbing system, straight roads, a system of grievance procedures, i.e. the law. Thanks to them my ancestors moved out of caves and into dwellings, were given infrastructure and eventually became the richest country on Earth. We need to embrace our history and see it for what it was, not use it as a way of saying it "destroyed our culture", no it didn't, it enhanced it. Now move on and become the amalgamation we all are. Martin Luther King said " I have a dream that one day this nation will live up to it's Creed that 'all men are born equal'" let's try to live his dream and move forward.... Sorry for politicising again...

Fuck off. Everyone knows all lives matter. Black lives matter because they are the ones being targeted. Do you see a save the rainforest poster and get angry yelling save all the trees.

Babylonians gave us the Law.
Greeks, Trojans, Egyptians, Etruscans, and Carthagians were all civilisations before the Romans (as we know them). And those are merely the civilisations of merit in the general region.

For someone claiming pride in your heritage you seem to know very little about it.

Yawn...Lets face it with a realistic view...the world will never change....it may get tweaked a little here and there but in reality...it won't ever be the utopia we would like it to be.
