True. And I for one am not as honourable as I could be. But the word was used in the first comment

I would certainly tell someone, and have, but expecting people to have the same standards I set for myself is naive. I think the words used in the first comment are a bit strong though, it's just good bloody manners really.

Yes, if they want to block that's fine, but letting you know why is polite. Or giving you the message that your tone of conversation isn't welcome with them.
