Any happy campers out there? NZMCA members maybe?

Was thinking a campsite meet up and few drinks over happy hour then …. Who knows what , but wondering if there are other Chch based camper freaks? Xx

I'm Christchurch based, got a caravan often go to Lake Pukaki or through to Lake Wardell Twizel etc

Heading to nzmca in Napier next Friday for 3 nights ( long weekend)
Going up to ride bikes around cycle ways up there , hopefully weather plays ball

Have you been to Rays Rest on the Seabird Coast. Plenty of players and watchers there

Are the players mostly in motorhome or perhaps nude sunbathers outside?

Haven't seen anything there
We stayed at Atiu creek a couple times once was only one other vehicle there
Lets just say the missus tried to humiliate me with the pajamas she packed for me and wouldn't let me close curtains to change at dusk

My post was for kings b/day weekend
We were gonna call in , but ended up getting held up & I wasn't feeling 100% so came home (following 1 days was crook as )

Hi we are chch based in our motorhome over winter we stay out at Oxford domain nice little spot next to the river happy to make friends there

I asked and got some clarification on that. Scroll to the top - you'll see this is not a group, it's a conversation in the General Discussions & events group. Their rule is no meetups - so that's why messages get "clobbered".
Best option - go to the new group I'm about to create instead of using this one.
There will be no problems there and organising meet-ups will be easy!
