There is something about a conference. People from a similar industry flying to a different city, staying in a hotel, having a few drinks, getting friendly. Then creeping to someone else's room late at night! Anyone else love a good conference?

I think the best conferences I went to were the educational ones. Teachers and school principals are so much fun when they are away from home!

Interesting I must be boring the conferences I've been away from home staying at a hotel or motel were nothing like that for me. Mind you I don't mix business with pleasure I like to keep my work life and personal life very separate indeed

True for all professionals I think. But then we got video conferencing. The number of times I've been told it's cheaper and just as effective. The first point is no doubt correct. The second not at all.
