Solo mums or dads

Any solo mums or dads that cant afford to give the children a nice Christmas lunch you would be welcome to join us and our family for a three course lunch
Entrees choice of orzo and smoked salmon fritters with a sweet chili greek yogurt sauce,or roast chicken and corn fritters topped with a sweet chili topping.Mains is roast stuffed turkey and hot ham on the bone with minted new potatoes,minted peas,sweet and sour kumera,baby carrots in quantro,desert is fresh season fruit salad,brandy xmas pudding ,pav topped with whipped cream and strawberries .And im sure santa would have left a little gift under the tree for every one also

Yes it can be my first wife passed away at 35yrs old i had a ten year old son to bring up on my own we had many a Christmas on our own.I were lucky i had a good job so at least i could afford to have a decent xmas.I came across a solo mum last year who hadnt eaten for three days so i brought her a large amount of groceries to help out

Do they still have the Christmas day meal at the Civic centre i worked on that for many years when living in UH .Old Scots guy from Lions organised it .

There are so many out there struggling these days we gave them the left overs to take home after as well .Turkey,ham and some veg and deserts keep them going for a couple of days after as well
