Weather's getting good for it now

Can ppl camp on pekapeka beach over night ?? ( Light small fire maybe)
Would be sun bathing in afternoon / early evening fish & camp night so can do early morning fish, & when go to leave there be no sign we even been there .....

Basically, "you have the right to enjoy public land provided you act responsibly" UNLESS there are council bylaws prohibiting it. I've never seen signage that would suggest KCDC would ban camping, but it would be best to make sure you are well out of eye- and ear-shot of the locals that are housed behind the dunes.

We would be up top of sand out of tide line ,
Solely for purpose of sunbathing in afternoon followed with sunset fish, camping then sunrise fish & be heading home by 10am .....

Then follow walk way to beach , then turn right

You are right but really both ways these days , far right some nice driftwood shelters and private dune depressions . Leave only footprints everyone! ;)

Driftwood shelters are great , especially for privacy of the locals
If ya having some fun just remember there are non playing ppl & kids on beach also , so keep it private ( also keeps locals happy )
& If naked thats fine ( is a naturists area) but don't be wondering around with a hard-on advertising what you have .....

Well said , absolutely! Don't annoy anyone, be discreet on beach with normies around, people on horses.. plenty of private spots in the dunes . Should be a great summer:)
